Pros

1) H&M pays more than other retailers 2) H&M have great benefits compared to other retailers 3) The company is expanding so there are more opportunities than other companies 4) The company have great values

Cons

1) Unqualified leaders - Due to rapid expansion, many unqualified people are promoted. 2) Europeans > Americans: As an American you may go as far as Regional but that's about it. You will never be the country manager. They are usually appointed from Europe. Also, Europeans tend to get special treatments and gets a career boost here. For example, An European will probably get hired as a district member while the same qualified American may have to start as Store Manager first. 3) Unrealistic expectations due to flawed KPIs. 4) Because of the above 3 points, you are stuck with 3 people for a 2 level store on a Wednesday morning trying to attend conference call while processing totes.
