Pros

H&M has excellent benefits and decent pay for the position. There are lots of stores opening and if you play the game right you can get promoted quickly.

Cons

-upper management not always competent -use of fear management encouraged in the stores. -they expect managers to do absolutely everything in the store -pressure from district team is unbearable -store managers are constantly stressed and take it out on their team

Pros

-Very flexible with employee schedules, vacations, etc. -Management is understanding and reasonable, unlike most that you would find in a retail setting.

Cons

-Generally understaffed. Customers constantly complain about the lack of sales advisors on the floor, at the cash registers, etc. -Over-tasked, mostly because we are understaffed. It hinders us from working at a higher level of efficiency. -There are rarely any forms of pay raises. -H&M boasts upward mobility, yet they almost always look for new staff to fill managerial positions.
