Pros

Excellent colleagues, Great sense of teamwork, Train and promote from within, Open atmosphere with good communication, Encouraged to take ownership of your own career, Encouraged to dress your own style, Employee Dicount

Cons

Can be stressful, Limits on hours available to managers often leave the store understaffed resulting in low morale and long closing times, Quiet times of the year can result in very little hours to go round, Part time staff are not guaranteed any hours, Favouritism from management results in lack of consistency over the treatment of all staff, Some staff with hopes of promotion are led on while others are quickly promoted before them

Being able to keep track of your own growth within the company is one of the good things about working at H&M.

Cons

Having to constantly change departments in order to cover needy areas makes it hard to focus on the particular department you desire growth in
