Good company with bad Managment

Pros

flexible timings, if you are sick / personal problem you can take work from home till you are recovered, many are employee more then 10-15 yrs.

Cons

Please hire a good management people, don’t just go based on experience. Person should be a good team player and not a commander or degraders. Take action if a resource complaint on some person, use HR power.

nice employee discount, flexible work time, nice company culture. industry leader.

Cons

poor benefit. no bonus below directors. only 10 days paid holidays very year. no cafeteria.

- Can sell dreams. All lies told to employees when they join. Never ever join this company. This company is sold to Symphony Teleca and not Harman bought Symphony Telca.

Cons

- Not much Big Data work. Only branding as big data analytics work. - This is the only company in the world where preference is given to vendors like Symphony teleca and wipro not because they are talented but because people in US can save their jobs when markets dont do well. - Native employees are not even given little bit of respect full favourtism for Symphiny Teleca employees again thats the policy of higher management to give more preference to Symphony teleca because of this current employees are leaving. - No onsite opportunities for Harman emoployees ever but contractors of Symphony Teleca go onsite for both short term and long term and native employees are not given chance again here discrimination is happening for native employees. - Very or no hike for employees of Harman but managers make sure Symphony employees get good hikes and positions. - All good work is goes to Symphony team and then few employees left around in Harman feel discarded due to politics of services company and then they leave. - For Harman employee selection procedure is very rigorous and comprises of many rounds and managers makes sure they are never selected so that job can go to Symphony Teleca who never have to go through such rigorous rounds and infact get better work and if good setting with managers then good pay too. - This big data team is worst managed and full of cunning politics. - Harman employees are told lies that they will sent to US for onsite jobs but such jobs goes to Symphony Teleca. - Symphiny Teleca top managers fool top management of harman about their talent but ground reality is very different. - Boot lickers are awarded. - Company will select employees based upon the company brand irrespective of their talent. - If anyone wants to work on bugs and support can join Harman with a good starting salary because quality work will be given to Symphony teleca and if you show resent then be prepared to face the politics which will ultimately lead you to switch.
