Pros

Huge corporation with deals on necessities and new places to work. Huge sign on bonuses for new staff. Even some monetary incentives to get staff who left to return.

Cons

Lack of attempt or incentives to keep tenured staff. Nurses with only one year experience orienting new people. Charge nurses with less than five years experience. Patient staff ratios and tasks continually increasing. Maybe it's just the field as a whole or maybe not?

HCA owns multiple urgent care clinics so they are easily accessible via insurance and are national.

Cons

HCA is one of the most profitable companies but one that does not pay their core nurses that well and raises are very low. All hospitals are unorganized but HCA is very unorganized.
