Pros

Its a good place for freshers to start their career but sticking long will rarely benefit them.

Cons

1. Work life balance is said best on paper but not practiced. 2. In Bangalore they have office too far away from human civilization, that might be one of the reason people avoid HCL in Bangalore. 3. People working here are of mediocre mind set, they are busy poking nose in others life rather than their own development. 4. Pay structure is worse and if you are working in Shifts and availing company transport then its even worse, they deduct most from your shifts allowances. In other companies you get around 6-8 k additional here you get nearly 2.5 k. 5. Managers had very bad culture of favoring people of their region. Work and merits are thrown out of window and good working people eventually leave the organization.

Pros

Good opportunity for learning. CMMI Level 2, so no strict process followed in most of the projects. Lot of good opportunities for the freshers.

Cons

No respect for the Specialist Learning is limited for the experienced resources Lot of resistance from the higher management for any new idea implementation. No measure is taken to withheld experienced resources Low pay when compared with the market standard Very low hike during appraisals Too much geo and language based politics Very low experienced and freshers in the project. Learning are saturated and same materials get repeated at various course material HR works as a mere puppets of manager and nothing done to improve the quality of work experience for employees. Internal portals are of not much use, still they process using Excel docs.
