There should be a well-defined and transparent process for internal job transfers. Currently, during deployment, candidates' skill sets are often overlooked. Many individuals with strong programming abilities are assigned to service desk roles, regardless of their technical strengths. Transitioning to a different project internally is extremely challenging. As a result, those initially placed in service desk positions often remain there for the entirety of their tenure. This issue is particularly prevalent among freshers. Additionally, the compensation offered to freshers is significantly below industry standards, making it difficult to sustain a reasonable quality of life, especially in Tier 2 or Tier 3 cities.
