Pros

International reach and size of business means that you can always move somewhere within the Bank to further your career. Can develop a career and get some good experience here. Has the feel of a must smaller organization than it is (though still moves at the pace of a behemoth). People that work here are generally nice and easy to get along with. Good day to day atmosphere. Compensation is reasonable. Lots of Millennials and younger employees. Strong sales environment. Lots of time and money spent on education. Work life balance is good (if you can get over the amount of work that everyone is bogged down with). Generally lots of opportunity for remote working and adjustments to schedules to manage family or other responsibilities. Strong consistent sales people are well rewarded.

Cons

Way too much work to be done by the number of people on staff. Everyone is overworked. Don't expect to retire here. If you make it to 50yrs old here keep your head down - your days are numbered. Managers are good sales people and not good managers. Lack of coaching and guidance (in spite of the material amount of lip service spent on both). Plan your own career. Get in - get the experience - and get out. If you're not a top sales person you won't last. Nowhere to hide like in other large banks. In general you are just a number here and will be treated as such.

Pros

Best place to work is in the UK department wherein you get appreciated for the work you do.

Cons

The leave policy is not that good. They won't get carried over to the next year.

Pros

Money is ok, Pension is better, Location is ok.

Cons

Management operate in a clique and target individuals. I saw them mistreat and ignore someone who left in a sideways move. Also saw them not only refuse a annual pay increase to someone who was highly skilled, whilst asking them to continue with profile raising tasks... this meant people new in the business were getting paid more than them. Assessors for work highly subjective, 1 assessor will have a different viewpoint to another, meaning you can fail your monthly targets due to subjectivity and it is a hard battle to get their decision over turned even if you have a strong case. Shares - wouldnt bother with them as when you leave there is a sting in the tail.
