Pros

One of the largest companies world wide, your local bank. Have great benefit package, medical, dental, vacation, tuition reimbursement, pension, 401k plans and great bonus programs. Opportunities to work in other states & overseas. Coworkers great personally with good intentions!

Cons

Some of the management on the local levels lack people skills.

Pros

HSBC present a great opportunity for Software Professional who is good in technical. Because HSBC have grown so big in short time through acquisitions and mergers that it’s systems are disintegrated and its a good opportunity it you have technical skill to integrate different applications. If you can do this kind of work then you can grow quickly. Very Good place for work life balance: If you want relaxed job, this is good place for you. Just keep doing your work and come to office at 10 and go home @ 6:30 and keep getting average annual hike i.e. 8-12 %. Best place for working couple. In Hyderabad there are about 30-40 couples out of 1400 workforce.

Cons

Very limited range of advance technologies used in HSBC , so less scope of learning. Company have requirement to support HSBC bank, and it already has that number. Therefore there is very less opportunity of promotions when compared to other Indian IT companies.
