Fairly good place to work, depending upon the department
Pros
1. Adopts latest technologies much faster than other big corporates. 2. Good salary hikes, additional performance based bonus above CTC, good rewards and recognitions system. 3. Allows employees to transfer to other departments, no Manager approval required, after 12 months working in one dept. 4. Plenty of leave options. Mandatory 2 weeks of continuous leave per year. Optional 6 months sabbatical after 5 years of continuous service. 5. Good learning options. Access to Safari, Coursera, LinkedIn Learning etc. Regularly holds hackathons and coding competitions with good prizes.
Cons
1. Visibility & opportunities varies from department to department. This is not linked with the performance of the dept in terms of profit provided to the company by that dept. 2. Very limited travel opportunities. Few people travel multiple times, others are not given any chance. 3. Core functionalities are still running on old legacy systems, making integration with newer applications a nightmare. Very little effort put to modernise those systems. 4. Terrible facilities in both Hyderabad and Pune offices. LCC Hyderabad campus has limited parking - only 4 days in a week, resulting in illegal parking on the narrow road to office. Inadequate lifts in Pune office. Poor and expensive food in canteens. Management turns blind eye to these issues.
