Pros

Flexible working hours. That's it.

Cons

Really outdated system of rating employees by putting a certain percentage into one of three categories - this has been shown time and again to be ineffective and demoralising. Difficulty in getting reasonable adjustments for disability. Large, noisy workplace, bullying and cliquey behaviour. Line management culture not very supportive.

Pros

Interesting and demanding role. Excellent training. Great colleagues. Long overdue - but well designed user focused IT being rolled out. Senior management actively driving necessary and positive change.

Cons

Organisation works in silos - Sections often actively obstructing corporate goals. Poor quality junior managers. 40% of ICE team staff leave after 2 years. Related to no annual shift pattern and rostered days off.
