Pros

Not much to be honest. Pension?

Cons

Some bitter, dodgy staff or thinking they are something special. Some real ruffies. Tattooed up geezers with a complex

Pros

If keeping Britain safe appeals to you, then this is the place for you. This is a good place to start your IT career, especially if you want to do IT support or DevOps. If you work hard, they will take care of you.

Cons

High turnover of staff (especially contractors) makes maintenance more complex. Too much reliance on contractors. Not much opportunity to move around the organisation. Since you can only showcase what project work that has been assigned to you, appraisal process can be unfair and irrelevant.
