Pros

Flexible shift working - can start earlier and finish earlier

Cons

Management are shambolic. The SEO's are abysmal, They preside over a culture of stress and intense micro management, and then send AI written "wellbeing" emails at the end of the week which feels like a slap in the face. Asylum is known for having the highest turn over in the Home Office as its intensely stressful, management are out of touch, promotions are offered on a cost cutting basis rather than who is the best fit. Abysmal. Working for the government has made me realise just why those in cabinet and at the top of the government are so incompetent - they preside over an entire hierarchy of incompetence
