Amazing work/life balance, great pay (workload earns it), incredibly friendly and approachable team. I've never met anyone there who wasn't as nice as family. Company culture and values are amazing and I was proud to work for them. CEO/Founder is a phenomenal guy with all departments in mind. Even the lowly travel agent position is well respected.

- Leadership that flexes constantly when things are good, is silent when things go bad Lies about culture: - Touts being "customer obsessed" but treats the customer service team like garbage and has never given an indication of caring about whether customers get answered - Customer-obsessed, advertises no hidden fees, has an opt-in tip hidden below the fold to trick customers into paying $5 per passenger, per booking. - Mentions "data-driven culture", uses data from hidden, opt-in tip, as proof that customers want to give Hopper a tip - "Do the right thing" somehow translates to laying off 200+ employees during a global pandemic at the first sign of something bad, making customer service employees take pay cuts while leadership silent on whether they took pay cuts to help save more employees in a time when no one can hope to get a new job.

Great and very committed leadership, people within the organization are very open to share knowledge and to help you navigate the org. Really, it is an amazing place with very talented people, the greatest minds i have ever worked with. Very pragmatic place that move fast. I have never been in a place that from the minute you enter you breath the culture, you see it everywhere and this is Hopper, people are very committed with the Culture, the leadership principles and thus we are very sync in where we are going, how and why. It is indeed a place that empowers people constantly and this is a great motivation for everyone. Im having the greatest time of my life working at Hopper.

Cons

We face many challenges as we are in a very dynamic industry, people interested to work at Hopper have to embrace those challenges, be able to adapt to the changes quickly. We are growing exponentially so it is a very intense environment, probably not for every one.
