Pros
IBM has talented people, a good reputation in the market, advances the business by investing in technology or creating alliances with strategic partners, and has a strong client base. From an employee perspective, the benefits are good.
Cons
There is bureaucracy throughout the company that makes it difficult to advance. I realized pretty quickly that some people were basically waiting their time for retirement, and just keep their head down and collect a paycheck every month. There is little incentive for them to innovate or contribute more than what is asked or expected.
