Pros

Wonderful colleagues, enjoyable and challenging work

Cons

IBM has longstanding internal practices of extremely poor ethical behavior. These unethical practices are commonly known outside the company. Evidence in just one of many examples can be found from Technology CEO's and news agencies commentary in the book entitled: "The Decline and Fall of IBM: End of an American Icon?" An internet search on topics such as "IBM employee Morale" or Forbes and CNBC documentary regarding routine, quarterly layoff's to maintain Earnings Per Share are just tip-of-the-ice burg samples of evidence showing how a wonderful company has been driven into the ground thru longstanding, ingrained greed and arrogance that has desensitized the conscience of decision makers. This has led the proliferation of unethical behavior to the point it is now deeply embedded in IBM's corporate culture.
