Pros

IBM still has good benefits most of which are better than other companies. I have great flexibility in whether I want to work in the office or work from home.

Cons

If you don't like your current role, it will take quite a while for you to be able to change jobs internally, even though they claim you have a right to do it within 6 months.

- work life balance - professional atmosphere - lots of resources to help - promotes remote work - leading edge technology - some really smart people

Cons

- salary pay is very low - little advancement opportunities - some incompetent people - often uses own tool that makes you uncompetitive once outside of IBM
