Pros

I don’t have much positive to say about the Big Blue. Perhaps the fact that they are a Global company, and the pay isn’t bad. In terms of career, it’s a killer

Cons

I found things to be very bureaucratic at IBM, very political and slow. I would not recommend joining IBM UK. I’ve sadly been seduced by joining one of the big 4 and now see that it’s been a mistake.

Pros

If you like eating fast food or cheap chain restaurants, then nothing to worry. The per diem at New York city is about 55 dollars. You can keep the money if you haven't spend it all. Nice for those who don't eat too much or don't look for quality food.

Cons

You will ALWAYS fly economy unless you get an upgrade due to your airline status. IBM do not pay for business even if your flight is 20+ hours. This is a general rule regardless of your position. Only the CEO flies on business. Plain and simple.

Pros

*Work From Home *Flexible *Is a heaven place for people who do not want to do a lots work and get paid *cant think of any PROs

Cons

*People managers here are mannequin, can't help/guide/advise their employees... their daily job only approving leave in the systems. No others. They are not knowledgeable and experience at all. In terms work wise or managerial. *Do not expect much when you are assigned to start work.. you need to starts work immediately and there won't be any knowledge transfer, no documents, nobody care about you especially when you are in doubt about your works *When you got escalated even not your fault, your manager will put all the blame to you and ask your self to sorted it out *No growth in your career *Benefits are worst compared to all companies I joined before *Too many employees are not really working and always doing non work related activities which does not benefits to company such as host events, plan activities, decorations, outing... *Cafeteria foods are bad and getting pricey *No parking provided *No coffee or tea provided *Those who working hard are not being appreciated *Sick leave more than annual leave *Too many tools for daily clocking or leave application
