Pros

Very diverse environment with wide range of areas to work in. Encourages, supports and allows time spent on self development. If you have a clear idea what you want to be, this is a great environment.

Cons

Going through massive transformation, that causes a lot of confusion.

Pros

Some of the smart people that work at IBM. IBM have a solution for almost all potential client requirements.Great training(in particular IBM Sales School). Flexible working.

Cons

Large sections of IBM are way behind the times. It is a oil tanker that struggles to adjust quickly when the market can require fast adjustment. Very poor pay (when compared to the market). The benefits of working in many parts IBM have gone when compared to 20 years ago. If you manage to get on the Graduate program - then stay for 3-4 years, learn then leave.
