Lower than average salary - most other companies pay more for the equivalent skill set. Redunancy comes around every 6 months The worst thing is your are a simply a number, a comodity, the HR / payroll departments don't have telephone numbers and so any questions are via email/online form.Your manager you may never meet in person. You are working for a ghost. .. If you go to site, it is like working in a public libary, which means you are simply an island which is part of a "virtual" team. THere are no techie in the UK just snake oil salemen, and none techical project manager. The GDC and CIC have such a rapid turn over of staff that lack of knowledge sharing almong themselves that you end up telling the same thing to umpteen different people.
