      Work for a company where your contribution is appreciated and rewarded. It's certainly will not be at IBM.

      TO say you worked for "IBM"

      Cons

      Management didn't care. Open door policies tagged you as a bad employee. There is no ability to move to another division within the company. The only way to work for IBM these days is if they buy the company you currently work for. Then they weed out almost everyone from the original company and lay off existing staff and move the jobs to Argentina (the new india).

      Pros

      Good structure, management very knowledgeable and supportive...When you need a company to through ressouces at an account opportunity, IBM us defiuntley able to do that. They have no problem in investing in the sales cycle and have the bodies to do it.

      Cons

      pay is very low, compared to the industry. You need a degree in Mathematics to figure out the compe plan, and they have recently changed the comp plan for senior sales managers to actually go against the sales culture. Very disatisfied with the compensation package. With the say the comp is structure now, I am sure that IBM will lose some of it's best people.
