Pros

* The Summit training program is useful and enjoyable. IBM invests heavily into new-hire training. * Compensation is quite strong for recent graduates. * There are many early employees and managers who are enjoyable to work with.

Cons

* Management rewards and promotes based on seniority vs talent. * Tense and aggressive executive culture incentivizing short-term thinking across the company.

Pros

Some people love IBM, others hate it. It's a large company with a lot of diverse people so overall, it was a good experience as long as you have a decent manager.

Cons

Raises are nearly non-existent and there's always a poor excuse made by management as to why you don't get one, even with stellar performance. Very bureaucratic - suggestions for process improvement fall on deaf ears.
