Pros

Hybrid working model a big name to add on your CV. Multisport card Medical insurance

Cons

The office presence has gradually went from a couple times a month, to 3 days a week. That's fine, but the office location is near the airport and is convenient to almost no one. Pay rise happens only if you get along on a more personal level with your manager. Otherwise newcomers with 0 experience get paid more than seniors. You get to have knowledge that can be applied only at IBM. No real upskilling available, since the only such source is Udemy and IBM's internal learning platform, which is quite outdated. No founding for non-IBM certifications. Yes, they often arrange live trainings, but they are limited to your position, and it's stuff you cannot apply outside the company.

Pros

Learn a lot about AIX, Tivoli Storage Manager/ Spectrum Protect, IBM Tape Libraries. Talk to people all over the globe.

Cons

Customer have no clue of there environment and its your fault. Not having the latest equipment in the test lab. Pager/weekend duty. If you have been with the company 10+ years or more, and get laid off, the package is a joke! In 2015 the severance pay was only 1 month regardless of how long that one have been with the company.
