Pros

The benefits and most of the cowokers. A laid back atmosphere for the most part. The discount helps too! There is coworker meals with discounts too.

Cons

Low pay! You work your behind off, get a good review...and you get a 50cent raise. Pretty hard to stay motivated after that. They support growth and developement but when it is time to switch to another role...again they dont want to pay you for what you are worth!

Pros

Flexible scheduling, health, dental, and vision benefits.,

Cons

The National Call Center in Baltimore, MD does not promote from within. Management positions are not filled from within. The only way to move forward in this company is to relocate. Any movement in you current location is a lateral move with little increase in pay. There is little structure here. When the company makes changes to processes, little thought seems to be given to how these functions will be handled. Emphasis is placed on controlling cost and doing things differently. Much less focus is given to customer satisfaction and product quality. Leadership at the call center needs to be reevaluated.

Pros

Benefits are very very good. This includes medical and tuition reimbursement which is helpful if you want to go to school, because many people would like to go to school but can't really afford it. And they give you retirement money I think but I'm not sure.

Cons

Salary is not so good but that's why the benefits have to be good. I think it's helfpul if you are in a two income family because it would be very hard to live on the salary at IKEA.
