Pros

The best place I've ever worked in Sofia! I finally get upset about the lack of competence of some of colleagues, but if you want to improve tour knowledge and capabilities, ING offers all this. Additionally, employees benefits are well above the average on country level.

Cons

Lack of competence of some of colleagues.

Pros

English is the actual working language in most IT departments and there are many international people everywhere. There is some flexibility with the working hours, and home-working is possible usually once a week (depending on the manager).

Cons

Most of the management cannot handle people who challenge or even simply have a different opinion. They also have big difficulties in accepting advice from internal employees, so they spend lots of money on external companies which produce exactly the same results. They are stuck in the era when the manager new best and all the employees had to do was simply execute, but unfortunately the work we do today is knowledge work and such approach leads to a lot of frustration.
