      Great company to gain valuable experience

      Pros

      -a lot of hands on learning in a constructive and collaborative environment. -benefits seem to be above industry average -hours are manageable making for a decent work/life balance -the brand recognition is gaining traction after a successful IPO only a year ago

      Cons

      -there is some disconnect between a the different sections of the company -upper management tends to focus more on the insurance side -the overall company seems to be a little slow moving, but are on the right track

      Pros

      Loved my immediate co-workers in my department and in departments which I closely worked Bonuses can be good in profitable years Cafeteria and small gym on-site

      Cons

      Work/like balance can be good IF you get in to the right department. Company culture is changing though so that working virtually or work from home situations are being eliminated. After lay-offs they don't replace people. More work is expected with less people. Health benefits stink - they only offer high-deductible plans

      Pros

      Many opportunities for training and cross-promotion if you look for them. Org environment generally friendly, departments are generally given a fair amount of leeway in terms of management style.

      Cons

      Management pushes overtime regularly, often with very little incentive. Many positions are very low compensation relative to the workload demanded.
