      Used to be a great place to work but everything moving to Wyong now

      Pros

      Good culture overall Reasonable targets and high earning potential

      Cons

      When we used to have a sydney team I would've given 5 stars, was a great team and high performing. Unfortunately change of senior management mean they didnt want to travel to sydney so they have all but closed the team down, so that those of us who are still there have to leave. TL's dont come up to check in on us, all of the opportunities are in Wyong now.

      Pros

      Some departments value culture and team work. Depending on the department you are in, the work hours are not too bad and you can have a nice work-life balance.

      Cons

      With recent increase in salaries, ING severely underpays its employees. Some departments have long hours and since the bank is small and probably underfunded in the US, some departments may expect you to take on tasks that were never in your job description. Some departments have a really bad culture and do not care for the future of newcomers. Lastly, depending on the group you are in, there is no official training offered for newcomers.

      Pros

      Nice people to work with. Some work in ING for more than 10yrs. If you like fast paced work places this is not for you. New office in city center. Monthly oncall rotas are paid. Juniors get 1k euro (*not so much previous experience required).

      Cons

      Procedures and regulations are in every team. Depending on team or area you could face an avalanche of night incidents. Some team managers or product owners are non-tech. Some come form other business domains and don't understand basic IT principles. Corporate changes from NL/Be offices affect team workflows in Ro.
