Pros

Work life balance is good. There are quite a few folks with kids so people respect others' personal life boundaries. Co-workers are friendly. Company has a clear mission with well defined principles SLT seems compassionate and empathetic

Cons

Weak product leadership with little knowledge on best PM practice. This is not a good place to learn how to be a good PM. Folks have different expectations on what PMs should do and expect PMs to solely execute and program management. Short-term focused and short-sighted execution with no focus on a coherent product vision and well defined product strategy. Inconsistent and opaque decision making process with no open communication between ICs and VPs. Poor and inefficient middle management is making it worse. To my surprise my manager is doing IC work (i.e. duplicating my work) instead of reviewing/editing my work.

Toxic managers

Pros

* Smart colleagues * YOU days * Permanent remote option for those who love it. * Quarterly bonus payout.

Cons

* Has some toxic managers in Hyd. Micromanages to the level where even if you breath, it has to be documented. Manager asks for too much of things to be done in a short time. * Open PTO is a myth, nobody even takes their allocated leaves. Even when you take a leave, the manager will ask for the purpose leave. * Too much of metric-driven work, which asks you to work as per competency metrics rather than focusing on actual work. * Focus on JIRA count *Doesn't care about challenges of Remote work. *Too many useless meetings *Too many tracks you will be pulled into, leading to poor WLB * No ESPP option, poor RSU planner *If you get meets expectation, it is possible you may get 0% hike annually. *Complex/tiring performance review process which happens every 6 months.

Pros

- Unlimited PTO WHEN having a good manager - Nice office/ building in Cap Dock - Possibility of internal development/promotion every year - YOU DAY (1 day off offered by month) - Internal Trainings are in French, and the Global Products Specials and Training team are great

Cons

- Distribution of the book of business in a random way. This is unfair, and it is then impossible to reach your targets. - Favouritism, - Unlimited PTO is lies (depending on the manager you have), - Not valuing their cs department enough (seen all the colleagues leave the team) - The HR department does not know the internal processes in the French market, which can be detrimental and impactful. They do not respect the confidentiality of their employees. - Withholding information on strategies for changing teams, targets or processes, which means that we have to systematically readjust at the last minute, and customers suffer. - Too many unnecessary meetings. - Permanent pressure and micro-management in the French market.
