Pros

It's a good name to have on your CV, perks are good, fitness classes, healthcare etc

Cons

It's a giant call centre, lots of training around what to say and not say. Clock in and clock out, no room for innovation or new ideas. Management hire friends of friends of friends which can be toxic in Ireland as it's such a small country. Boys club' approach is disgraceful.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review about working at Indeed. We deeply value our employees' insights as we continuously strive to improve. We currently recruit through a variety of sources, including employee referrals, however, our HR & Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging teams are working to develop action plans that will continue to support recruiting and retaining a broad slate of candidates through multiple sources. We place a significant emphasis on creating a culture of inclusion and belonging for all employees, and ensuring we hire people from diverse backgrounds remains a priority for us. We greatly appreciate your feedback. Please feel free to reach out to me directly or to a member of our HR team at any point. Derek Diviney, VP Sales & CS EMEA

Pros

-They really take care of employees from perks/benefits standpoint -Great people to work with -The mission is worthwhile to help people find jobs

Cons

-Too many organizational changes that don't provide sustainability / therefore reducing opportunities to explore other career opportunities -Poor management accountability and training that present too many investigations around discriminatory and harassment behavior by managers to individual contributors -Lack of clarity on strategy and vision of the projects teams are working on -HR is not helpful in removing career blockers

Thanks for leaving a review of your work experience here at Indeed. While we’re disappointed to read that you’ve had a less than positive experience so far, we appreciate the feedback as we can only improve as a company by reading reviews such as yours. We strive to make the workplace as enjoyable as possible by offering a bounty of benefits so employees can stay focused on our mission of helping people get jobs. Those perks include catered lunches, snacks and beverages, and of course the Open PTO that all full-time employees are able to enjoy. While we offer lots of perks to keep employees engaged, leadership and management is also important as they help set direction for the company. With our unprecedented growth in 2019, our product, tech and engineering teams were restructured to reflect our larger organization. As with many growth spurts, growing pains often pop up. We’re working to ensure that everyone in new leadership positions are properly trained and able to confidently communicate goals for the company. Again, thank you for leaving us feedback on Glassdoor. If you have any additional comments, please send an email to inside@indeed.com if you would like to have a confidential conversation.

Pros

Large bonus incentive for seniors (if you can hit unattainable quarterly targets), food and open pto (standard in tech industry)

Cons

Favoritism for promotions (internal career growth). Inside sales teams are currently pinned against each other to sell different products to the same clientele. Creating poor client experience, also creating internal conflict...these initiatives ultimately burned countless bridges with clients due to the unprofessionalism displayed by Indeed’s contracted employees ( that work under secondary staffing products now being sold against inside sales).

Thanks for leaving a review of your work experience at Indeed, and to your over 5 years of helping Indeed grow to where it is today. We value all feedback, and can only hope to get better as a company by listening to both the positive and critical reviews we get on sites like Glassdoor. While the Open PTO policy is more common in the tech sector, most companies in the US do not offer it. We encourage our employees to take time off so they can come back refreshed.Every full-time Indeedian has an annual budget of $1500 for their career development. At the same time, we actively encourage employees to have ongoing conversations with their colleagues and managers to ensure our teams are growing in a healthy and sustainable manner. Managers are held accountable to their leadership roles and we%E2%80%99re monitoring this through our employee engagement surveys and manager performance feedback, which allows for two-way assessments. While you may no longer work at Indeed, we still welcome any additional feedback you may have. Please send an email to inside@indeed.com and we will continue to provide this feedback to the relevant parties, in this case the Sales senior leadership team.
