      Not what it once was.

      I met some lifelong friends and mentors.

      Indeed is a great place to start your sales career and gain experience in inside sales. But even when you've proven yourself to be a top sales rep, there is no room for growth or promotions. Senior leadership does not promote qualified reps, nor do they promote woman into senior leadership. The way they set up quotas, you'd think they are wanting to see you fail so they don't have to pay you a big bonus. There is no transparency. Indeed is going downhill, and needs to rethink the way they run a sales floor and organization. They are not competitive in the market with pay, and now not even with culture. Don't be fooled by the game rooms, or fully stocked kitchens. At the end of the day that stuff doesn't matter, and what matters is how leadership is treating you. And leadership here does not give two sh*ts about you. Your just another person in the seat making the calls!

      Great Idea, Poor implementation/management

      Pros

      -Great people -Free food -Cool office environment -Middle management is great, upper management, not so much.

      Cons

      -Cutthroat, thin-ice type environment. High pressure to hit numbers goals. -Sometimes, they are unrealistic or out of your power, but still, you will be punished for not hitting. -Management seems to only care about the numbers and metrics you are producing, not how you actually feel.

We take pride in a great work environment, from the people that make up Indeed to the amenities offered, such as catered meals, snacks/beverages and the activity rooms that make up each Indeed office. As a data-driven organization, we adjust KPIs and metrics as needed to reflect the market. This constantly changing environment may not be suited for everyone, but many thrive in the challenge that is presented to them. That said, we also evaluate feedback both internally through engagement surveys and from reviews such as this to provide to management, as the only we can improve as an organization is through feedback.

      Modern "startup" like company which uses Slack and email heavily.

      Permissions and areas of responsibility can be time consuming to work through.
