On it's downfall

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

At one time leveraged it's brand and name to help job seekers, but got lost in scaling revenue to meet investor and parent company demands. It's a tough company to be at now that it's fighting to survive and sustain revenue. Clients are realizing that the product has barely changed in the last 5 years and matching results for job seekers has been incredibly poor.

Cons

Management is throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks. No one in c-suite leadership has an idea or solution, other than holding on to a thin thread keeping the company together. The future strategy is all over the place, and leadership is afraid to make any big moves or investment in moving the technology forward. Sad state of affairs at indeed.

Thanks for leaving a review, and we're sorry to hear that you had a less than positive work experience as an Account Executive at Indeed. As an employer, one of our biggest priorities is to provide our staff with a safe working space. We care deeply about our employees’ experience and won’t tolerate mean or toxic behavior. At Indeed, we champion a culture that values honest and transparent communication, with quarterly feedback and management effectiveness surveys. Employees should be having weekly 1:1’s with their line managers to ensure that goals are met as well as for continual career development discussions. We also strongly encourage employees to have 1:1 skip-level manager check-ins if facing problems, as well as reaching out to your HRBP so they are aware and can provide feedback upwards as well. If you want to speak to us further and confidentiality please email us at inside@indeed.com.

Pros

40 hours a week with decent pay

Cons

The rules we put in place for businesses are so corrupt I feel bad for them, we make them jump through never ending hoops because we have monopolized the recruitment industry. Company culture is toxic Don't work here if you want to help people
