Pros

I went to training in Mysore, Karnataka, India which was really interesting. I was also placed at Goldman Sachs, which allowed me to learn a lot about equities through Goldman Sachs internal training.

Cons

Your salary doesn't increase regularly but your job scope will! There's also a problem with employee appreciation as almost every employee I spoke with was disgruntled. Finally, there's a bench system where you wait to be placed on a contract with a customer. If you are a software developer, this will lead to skills decay, if you don't have your own projects to work on.

Pros

Good people (but most leave), freedom and autonomy in day-to-day and ability to self-select projects (to a certain extent)

Cons

Underpaid, inconsistent work, managing partners have no control over Consulting organization, poor benefits (no 401k match program), not seen as an "innovative" company, disjointed/dysfunctional systems, almost all corporate functions are in India (huge burden, no resources for US employees), and many many empty promises (specifically around raises and promotions)

Pros

Sometimes there are free biscuits. Working here will make you tougher mentally and learn to appreciate what really matters in your life.

Cons

In my view there is a fear culture. A stereotypical Indian "I am the boss. You do not matter" attitude is rife. No recognition is granted to hard workers, in fact, credit is stolen by managers desperate for recognition and anyone else who can take it from you. 5% of the people do 95% of the work. No pay rises are ever given with extra responsibility which you will be given until breaking point. HR play by their own rules "Infosys" rules. You will be completely alone if there's an issue with the only option being to get out. Which is made difficult by the various clauses you will have to sign regarding future jobs.
