Pros

I worked there, certified as one of the best in the country.

Cons

late pay, mobbing, falsified hours, 50% wage drop due to poor performance of leaders, HR misinformation, threats from leaders, harassments, denial of access to personal documents, ridiculous internal IT, lame environment, substantial problems all over, no work offered, bonuses not paid out, incompetence, career ladder is actually a long, long ramp, policies not conform with EU standards, etc. p.p.

Pros

The people I worked with were great.

Cons

The culture of the company was absolutely horrible. If you have abused spousal syndrome it may be the place for you. Otherwise, steer clear.

Pros

Initial training for people joining from college/university is the best of what you can find in any other company.

Cons

There are no "listeners" here. Most of the project managers are people who have been in the same team for over a decade. Because skip level manager has been a colleague of the manager, if an employee goes to a skip level manager with their concern, they ultimately are always on the side of the manager even if the manager is wrong. The skip level manager doesn't want to spoil the rapport they have with the manager. There is hierarchy model in Infosys even if they deny of it in their policies. A lot of teams have micromanaging managers. There is nobody to question these managers as to what they have contributed to the project. The managers get things done from "subordinates" (even though as per policy there is no hierarchy) and then use this achievement of the team to showcase it as their own achievement probably to client or their manager. In order to do this they push employees to work extra and micromanage. Also employees are not allowed to be working on projects where their skills can be utilized best. Instead people are moved by managers randomly to random technology projects if they don't like the person personally.

Thank you for providing feedback about your experience at Infosys, as it helps us improve. At Infosys, we hope our team members can feel supported by their managers. Our managers vow by the Infosys Manager Code, which includes seven dynamic elements a manager lives by during his/her lifecycle in the organization. We are sorry if you have had a negative experience with your managers. We value your feedback and will work to see how we can foster a more supportive environment. Thank you.
