Pros

Gym onsite with personal trainer and daily stretch routines. Food court, dry cleaning all onsite. Diverse group of people. Decent benefits and RRSP plan.

Cons

Management was absent and gave zero opportunity for growth. Lots of negativity and gossip/politics. Clients money was often spent because they "had to". No real value in any of the programs. Senior staff spent more time on the golf course then in the office.

Pros

Product based company, I've worked only for 3 months these are the things I found good about Ingram Micro, Balance in work and family life, not much work pressure, Doesn't follow stringent time policy (Work flexibility), not much restrictions on internet usage (almost all sites work), Provides laptop (not in all teams I was not allotted laptop), For candidates joining there as Dotnet developer, don't except to work on new technology like Asp.net Mvc (They have their application "IMONLINE" in Asp.net) following are the technologies used in DotNet paradigm Asp.net, Sharepoint, .Net 4.0, WCF, Kentico etc.

Cons

Tag for recruitment is "We are fortune 100 Company" don't go by that, Indeed it is "Fortune 100" due to poor management it lacks that tag here in India. You'll have to come on weekends for monthly release (no comp off), holds increment, lack of transparency, no onsite, no team lunch. There has been change in company's policies, because of no transparency nobody knows, what will happen once new policies are implemented. Currently notice period is 1 month once new policy gets implemented it may change to 3 months. Management is trying to move towards service oriented way of working they are making big mistake, you cannot turn product based company to work like service based. HR lacks etiquette, on my last day my hr was not cooperating and she was misleading me with exit procedures.

Pros

-Stability -This is a good job if you have little education or career potential

Cons

For an intelligent person, there are no challenges. Most of the jobs are very simple and operational, and hence are redundant. -The pay is extremely low and is rarely based on education or experience. -You are mandated to work 9 hours a day and to take an hour lunch
