The only good thing about Intact is their pay - very competitive. Some may say there is room for advancement, but it depends what department you are in. And trust me, if you want a life, you don't want to be a manager!

Cons

This is an absolute sweat shop. Workload is unmanageable, and you're expected to work as many hours (evening and weekends) to get the job done. Oh, and no additional compensation or recognition for the extra work. They set you up to fail in your job. I witnessed this at varying levels in the company.

It was a dynamic and constantly changing environment. On the surface it seemed like there was effort.

Cons

The department was very unstable, with record high turnover and a director who was orchestrating it all.
