Pros

Friendly and collaborative work culture (I worked at a small site of ~300 people and can't speak to other sites). There are opportunities for advancement into management roles, including from non-engineer roles into engineering and management roles. Intel offers an inclusive environment. I enjoyed working in a racially and gender-diverse workplace. (Grain of salt: your correspondent is white.)

Cons

The cons of working at Intel come mostly from corporate management. Intel is flailing in the industry, and the employees over the last few years have suffered austerity measures and successive waves of layoffs, really hurting morale.

Pros

you get lucky to find good people to learn from

Cons

No work-life balance, they don't accept feedback, and toxic culture. People get hired based on connections and from the same country rather for skills.
