      Pros

      Its upto each individual to see how far he can go. If one works hard the chances of being recognized for those efforts is very high

      Cons

      Large corporations can swallow individuality at times. Knowledge sharing across various groups is very lacking and needs to be improved.

      Pros

      For a technology company Intel is a stable place to work. Intel has very good benefits.

      Cons

      The culture seems to promote talking over doing. Where I worked there were about 5 man hours of talking for every man hour of engineering execution. The review process is like a bet episode of "Survivor". Employees are pitted against each other in a zero sum game. You are rated by people who have no idea what you are responsible for. The way to get good reviews is to attend a lot of meetings and say things that are seen as "Impactfull". The HR department seems to just be a web site without any humans. The HR department is like Dell Technical support -- but without the call center.
