      Pros

      great people, varied opportuntiies, strong w/l balance, commitment to community (support for volunteering, etc) .... SABBATICAL (8wks plus your vacation that year, every 7yrs). I've also really enjoyed the opportunity to move to different sites over my career and different groups. People are very open to mentoring if you ask.

      Cons

      can be a tough environment, confrontive. Also, you have more control over your career and some people don't like that, some seem to prefer being shown where to go/when, i like the openness as means you can change your answer over time (and i have several times).

      Pros

      A good place for getting a work experience as intern. Actually, there are a lot opportunities to try different positions during internship. But if you want to get a real responsibility and real career growth, you need to be outstanding person (a genius). Sometimes it's better to get work experience as intern at Intel, and after that to get a real job with real payment, with good strings in your CV.

      Cons

      Although it's a good place for getting experience, internship programs can lengthen up to 4 years in Russia. Not everybody would endure such a long internship for small payment.

      Pros

      Pre determined work schedule that is consistent. Travel. Benefits--many choices/options to choose from and/or update as your health or home life changes. Your choice to take advantage of growth opportunity..i.e mentorships, classes (on or offsite) meetings with supervisors/management. Fitness centers. (2) Safety oriented atmosphere--never do I feel that my health/welfare is at risk, despite the presence of deadly and/or toxic chemicals.

      Cons

      If one is honest and mature in the answering of this question they will realize that there is NOTHING to complain about. This is my 2nd career after 24 years in DoD R&D at White Sands Missile Range. Intel is paradise in comparison.
