      Improving Under the New CEO

      Pros

      Decent pay and benefits. Good managers exist and reward folks who do their jobs well. They at least now have mostly caught up in process tech and core product competiveness. AI positioning has also improved significantly. They recently brought in an R&D VP from Micron to run the foundry who is quite good.

      Cons

      Can be hit and miss with manager quality. Layoffs have cut deep and wide so I imagine longer hours. Layoff criteria tends to be a rather arbitrary "skills matrix" that mostly favors seniority. Some incompetent management is still entrenched and the red tape will take time to cut.

      Great People, Care about you, your work life balance, and everything else. Very healthy workplace.

      Cons

      Nothing that any other large company would not deal with.
