Pros

Intuit internal communication is outstanding. No nonsense work culture, efficient, productive work environment. Great support from people you work with.

Cons

Cross functional, or cross team coordination has room to improve. Typical challenge when organizations become bigger.

Pros

good products. company is investing in newer technologies. collaborative culture. very good training offered to employees on regular basis.

Cons

talent is uneven. some engineers are the worse i have met skill wise. many are producing a horrific 100 lines of code per quarter. they have been with the company for over 12 years and already operating in retirement mode. the pace is slow becausr of them. the pay was also trailing the market by a good amount.

Pros

Great benefits. Compensation is pretty good. Flexible hours.

Cons

Intuit is a very politically driven company. Tax DIY is a dying business since many competitors are offering DIY tax prep software for free. Though Intuit tries hard to be a software company, it is not entirely a software company. There are more people in the functional space than in the engineering department. The quality of engineers is pretty bad because good engineers usually cannot survive the politics here. The company hires a lot of contractors, so that causes a lot of churn.
