Pros

Good Benefits, compensation Paradise for 0-3 yrs ,entry level engineers Talented peers

Cons

1) Too much of redtape, process and reviews 2) They blindly mimic some of the startups and their technologies without a need and rationale. 3) Some of the orgs have numerous dependancies across various stakeholders. Makes it impossible to work from home. Hampers flexibility. 4) PR driven company. Everything goes on social media. 5) Not a technology company. Very old legacy stack 6) They have monthly reviews and 360 degree peer feedback twice a year. 7) Extreme micromanagement by non technical middle management who attract talent by their sugar coated talks. 8) Growth depends solely on your network than on technical talent. 9) Please think innumerable times if you are heading here looking for latest technologies. Its going to be a shocker. 10) Devops model of dev owning Dev + QA +Devops leaves engineers overburdened

Pros

Often we get to solve Challenging Technical Problems. As we grow, distributed-systems scale problems are plenty and very interesting. Very good perks, benefits and RSUs.

Cons

Though we are transitioning to most modern stack, keeping the legacy systems running until their retirement creates schedule conflicts.
