Pros

Decisions are weighed with respect to how they will impact Customers, Shareholders, and Employees. Top 100 places to work rating is achieved through management focus on employees as a strategic competitive advantage. Financial software domain knowledge is deep and pervasive.

Cons

Organizations work in silos with issues communicating and coordinating across silos. Senior leaders seem to be rewarded for delivering within their domain, but there doesn't seem to be recognition for collaborative efforts. Desktop-centric engineering and release approaches can be frustrating for web world.

Pros

Intuit is a good company with strong customer focus. Very good benefits. People wants to do good work there.

Cons

This is a very conservative company. There is not enough innovation around the company. There are a group of employees who really don't want to change anything. There is not enough opportunity for people to move around within the company.
