Pros

Strong Value Sysytem with Great Integrity Leaders Who Care About People Great Benefits that mean a lot to my family Passionate Leaders who care about winning Clear open communication... CEO takes live questions from frontline employees every quarter, which takes a lot of courage.

Cons

New leadership at the CEO level is focused on growth, innovation and balancing needs for all three stakeholders. However, he does not appear to recognize the conflict between some of his stated goals. CEO pushed to add customers, customers, customers then was surprised when revenue was hurt by discounts and free offers. New IPI structure still targets 15% growth which is unrealistic in the near term.

Pros

A culture of respect, innovation, constructive debate, and leadership development. Great integrity and values. People want to do the right things and create great experiences for customers.

Cons

Like all companies, the economy has forced the company to balance some difficult, often unpleasant choices. When we don't grow like we thought, our cost base in people and pay is out of synch with our expected margins, and we have to cut while trying to invest in the right directions for the future. Tough to do, despite the compassion and people focus. We also spend too much time talking about concepts of innovation rather than getting things done and testing a lot of ideas quickly. We also take too long to make important decisions because lines of authority are often unclear, and we don't have a culture of letting others make decisions that impact our work - we want to have a say on everything, which does not work in a large, complex organization.

Pros

Intuit has the right strategy and focus. Intuit has a very bright future if it keeps its focus on growth and innovation. This Intuit is different than the old Intuit.

Cons

It is always difficult to change. Intuit needs to grow and so change is inevitable. Change for Intuit means making sure there is the right mix of talent. So some will leave and new talent will be hired. This is always the easiest environment to work in.
