Pros

•Decent vacation package •Pension (No longer offered to new employees) •MRA funds •Tuition reimbursement (to be paid back if one departs within two year of completion)

Cons

•Base pay is low and about half of what you can get at other banks •Commissions are cut yearly to make sure bankers work like animals to meet sales goals •Constantly overworked and understaffed •Bad morale throughout company…many bankers interviewing and planning to leave to competitors •30 minute lunch •Doors never closed during COVID and company risked the lives of employees while other banks protected their staff •Bankers are expected to be telemarketers and call the same clients over and over

Pros

Good benefits, salary, place to be if you are day-in day-out

Cons

I observed rampant cronyism to the point when a people with only a high school diploma and no technology background were accepted into IT Executive Director positions, just because of "networking". The JPMC also goes out of its way to discriminate against straight white males, by using race, gender, sex orientation as criteria for promotion. The IT in particular is overrun by immigrants from India because Chase signed exclusive agreements with TCS and Cognizant (Indian IT companies) to provide all consultants, who are then converted into FTEs. As a result, it is common to see 80% of the people on the floor are from India. Needless to say, it is just another form of discrimination.

Pros

They are no pros.No work life balance. Even if you negotiated bonus they don't pay you. Salary not par with amount of work you have to do. Staying late, working 50-60 hours a week. Lot of pressure.

Cons

Work is not at all fun and innovative. You are stuck with old technology and equipments. No raise or promotion. Lot of politics
