Pros

Benefits and peer support. They have intuitive tools and systems that make life easier. Salary was decent and the pay structure is the good for advisers.

Cons

Management does not have the best interests of the employees in mind. They work their call center employees and then lay them off when the volume is down. They care about the bottom line.

Pros

Benefit package is comparable to others in financial services.

Cons

Everything else - you have no value as an employee; everyone is expendible; you give up your life when you walk through the door. If you have a family, kiss them goodbye now because you will never see them again. 18 hour days are the norm. Everyone is constantly afraid and terrified of making any little mistake. You are expected to lie, and to tell the lies that senior management dictates. If you don't, you're gone or banished. Senior management is clueless, manages by crisis to crisis, and is completely occupied with its own self-preservation. And, just try to find a clean and working restroom when you need one. They'll tell you to go use the bathrooms in the hotel next door if you don't like it.
