Pros

Still a few good people working there but most of the best are gone. Benefits and life/work balance are pretty good though.

Cons

Since the switch from SciQuest to Jaggaer things have gone completely downhill. The new management got rid of the old as well as tons of good people working in the trenches. The new CEO and management are untrustworthy and simply do not have the employees interests in mind. It's the general opinion internally that they are trying their best to lower the overhead and increase the book value in order to sell the company. The price for that is that the company is a mess, people are quitting left and right and no one feels secure or that they are a part of a family anymore. Development, support and services simply don't have the headcount or experience to be effective and the customers are suffering. So while employee confidence has gone way down so has the confidence of the customers. That's not good.

Abysmal - Worst Professional Experience To Date

Pros

Paychecks are issued twice a month like most places.

Cons

The leadership is running the company like a elementary school fundraiser - it feels like they're coloring in a poorly drawn thermometer for when they hit a bottom line amount suitable enough for the equity firm to allow the SLT to move on. Any and all expenses are heavily scrutinized to reduce costs. That's understandable but at JAGGAER it's the top priority. Tools that carry a cost have been eliminated, things like personal goals are tracked on paper if possible...at a SAAS company. There's no shortage on feeling defeated from middle-management down. The current job openings tout 'growth', it's not- not even close. If you go in to back-fill an opening, be assured you're taking on the work of 3-4 former employees. There's no investment in career growth. Employee turnover is so quick across the organization, there isn't enough time to chat about performance, let alone a career ladder with anyone. There's very little guidance - you learn more from the customers about the products and your role than you do internally. Communication is non-existent. Example: A former employee could be gone for weeks before you're made aware and the awareness would come when you're told you're to take on their workload because the opening wouldn't be back-filled. Another example: You're an employee that is cultivating a relationship with the customer and you find out from your contact that 'colleagues' (VPs, Sales, etc) have just visited them recently and the customer doesn't understand why you aren't aware or a part of the conversation. It's important to note that morale and perception are so low that current employees were encouraged to leave fake positive reviews on Glassdoor to increase the ratings. Pros

Free soda, good pay, good benefits. Many of my co-workers are very smart, patient and I like working with them.

Cons

It's not a good company. Communication is abysmal and everyone is always waiting for the other shoe to drop. Management is invested in a quick flip not building a solid business. They live in corporate housing which indicates their level of real commitment. The latest reviews sound very artificial and staff was gently asked to leave positive reviews. Good companies don't need to ask.
