      BRIBERY wow sounds like Upper Mngt is bribing people to say good things about the company

      Pros

      Wow off the top of my head I cant think of any other than free coffee and soft drinks

      Cons

      Most of Mngt needs to go back to Mngt 101 and a good number of people need to have an attitude adjustment and realize that they are NOT the greatest thing since sliced bread and that they are not better than everyone else. My advice to anyone in this company, if you see a window to exit this company TAKE IT before the train wreck happens.

      Pros

      Good benefits, growth opportunities that exceed most in the area and relatively little bureaucracy. "Work hard, play hard" mentality (some beer Fridays, blocks of free tickets to local sporting events, health club membership, company-sponsored events / outings, etc.). "Lead or be led" culture, which often allows employees to take on what they can handle (vs. confining and rigid job definitions) and making it easier to positively impact key constituents. Company has been deliberate about bolstering the existing talent level across many areas. SciQuest has many fun, experienced and smart employees that are great to work with.

      Cons

      Company has high expectations for employees and holds them accountable. Tendency to offer candid and direct feedback. With a heavy reliance on agile methodologies and rapid growth, there are times when there is some ambiguity and uncertainty at the start of a project / year. Exciting for some, likely frustrating for others.

      Management is extremely dysfunctional

      Pros

      the break room and monthly social gatherings which is extremely clicky

      Cons

      The management is very hands off and disorganized with a lack of communication . They expect a lot of the employees without any guidance of what their expectations are. They also expect the employees to work in excess of the normal work day. They say it will change and it does not.
