      It's a job. That's important in a tough economy.

      Cons

      You'll never get paid according to your experience level. They keep the titles very low level so it appears that compensation is decent, but they obviously don't take the actual people and their abilities into consideration. There is no attempt to hold onto good people, and if the economy was better, this company would lose over half the work force. They have also instituted a policy that all work hours must be in office, so there is no working from home or coming in late after a doctor's appointment. You'll need to take vacation time, and it's been made clear that people are watching when we come and go.

      The people that have been there for a while are layed back

      Pros

      They have great benefits, free soda and coffee and beer friday. The culture is fairly laid back as well. A lot of the development staff have been there for a long time and are good people.

      Cons

      There really isn't anywhere to go in development. There are only so many spots. Also their technology is aging a bit, although it does work.
