Pros

Wow off the top of my head I cant think of any other than free coffee and soft drinks

Cons

Most of Mngt needs to go back to Mngt 101 and a good number of people need to have an attitude adjustment and realize that they are NOT the greatest thing since sliced bread and that they are not better than everyone else. My advice to anyone in this company, if you see a window to exit this company TAKE IT before the train wreck happens.

Pros

I made some good friends while at SciQuest and keep in touch with them to this day. It's become customary for myself and other former employees to share a drink with then current employees who finally escape SciQuest.

Cons

Not enough allotment of words in this field to begin to enumerate, I think the negative reviews submitted by other current/former employees sum things up nicely. There's a new recruitment video available on the careers page at SciQuest, from someone in the know, please don't even sip the kool-aid. Run, don't walk away from open opportunities at SciQuest.

Pros

It's a job. That's important in a tough economy.

Cons

You'll never get paid according to your experience level. They keep the titles very low level so it appears that compensation is decent, but they obviously don't take the actual people and their abilities into consideration. There is no attempt to hold onto good people, and if the economy was better, this company would lose over half the work force. They have also instituted a policy that all work hours must be in office, so there is no working from home or coming in late after a doctor's appointment. You'll need to take vacation time, and it's been made clear that people are watching when we come and go.
