Pros

There is a lot of flexibility with your schedule and you get to meet a lot of different people. This role also came with a company car which helped me and my family out a lot.

Cons

A lot of extra hours without pay. I had also was in the hospital for a bit, and it wasn’t taken very kindly. I wish the work life balance of the culture there would change. Another issue is there is a mind set that letting people try to swim and drown in work is ok. Unfortunately, that didn’t sit well with me.

Benefits that come with working for a large company, but the enjoyment of working in a small office at a branch level. Also very flexible working hours takes a lot of the stress out of balancing work/social activities.

Cons

Occasional corporate policies and intrusions that disrupt your workflow under the guise of being for your benefit when it’s clearly checking a corporate box and burdening you with additional tasks.
